Cockpit is a private tool built and used by one person, its owner. It is not available to other users.
With the owner's permission through Google sign-in, Cockpit reads the owner's Gmail messages, creates Gmail drafts (it never sends mail), adds labels that start with "Cockpit/" to the owner's mail and, only for senders the owner has chosen, moves routine mail out of the inbox (it never deletes mail, and the owner can undo it), and reads and creates events on the owner's Google Calendar.
Message content is used only to identify tasks, follow-ups, bills and events for the owner, and may be sent to Anthropic's Claude API for that analysis. Data is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any other purpose.
Data is kept in a private database on the owner's own hosting account. Access credentials are held only as protected environment settings there.
Cockpit's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The owner can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions and can delete all stored data by deleting the hosted database.
